Who is behind Dokumentar, and why we built it.
Dokumentar is a product of NEW NEST MD DOO (PIB 112544993, MB 21696161), an accounting firm that has spent years working with Serbian regulations and business software.
The team behind Dokumentar handles the day-to-day paperwork for 80+ companies. Dokumentar came out of that experience. We saw first-hand how much time goes into filing by hand, hunting for documents later, and preparing the arhivska knjiga. We wanted to change that.
NEW NEST MD is an accounting firm with 35 years of practice in finance and tax advisory. We built that experience with Serbian law straight into the rules inside Dokumentar, from retention periods to the arhivska knjiga form.
Everything you see in Dokumentar came from real problems of real clients, not from abstract specifications. That is why the system is fully compliant with the law, easy to use day to day, and a fit for a small company as much as for an accounting firm running several clients.
